Colombia Exelso Decaf

from A$20.00

Orange • Almond Praline • Purple Berries • Chocolate Malt

Introducing a new decaffeinated coffee to replace the popular Popayan variety, this Colombian coffee comes from the same region and is processed using the Sugar Cane Method.

Despite being decaffeinated, this coffee offers a rich and sweet flavor with a smooth cashew-like texture. The unique decaffeination process involves water and a natural compound of Sugarcane Molasses, resulting in a surprising complexity and sweetness not commonly found in decaf coffees.

The coffee is harvested and processed by smallholder farms, each occupying around 5 hectares of land. Its tasting profile features delicate notes of orange and berry with finishing touches of chocolate malt and almond praline. The coffee is a blend of Castillo, and Caturra varietals, grown through the washed process and using sugarcane EA decaffeination, in the Risaralda region at elevations ranging from 1400 to 1900 meters above sea level
